Yesterday, I turned 24 — a year shy of a quarter life. As much as I want to avoid saying the cliché I still cannot stop asking myself, “Where did the time go?” It has been a wild ride and I can’t believe I just closed another chapter of my life.
There’s a lot to be said in 23. Just like the number, the year has been odd. I almost cannot decipher how I was able to survive every twists and turns but I am glad I did.
One of my favorite authors, John Green, said that March 4 is the only day that is also a sentence. True enough. It is a reminder that I hold dear into my heart. It is as if I was born to get up after every challenges, disappointments and cries. So here’s to 24. Here's to another year of laughing until it hurts, of overcoming every battle through grace, of adventures and never-ending bliss. Here's to another year of marching forth with confidence and courage.
Cheers to 24!
